The Photography of Tony Baker

I try to capture the concept that events and places have an intimacy all their own even in the absence of human subjects. Nature and architecture, frozen in that one moment, can display not only a mood or setting for human action but also a deeply compelling history or a story that could be told on a single sheet of paper.
